For almost 2 years, EchoSign has been unique in our space in providing fully transparent, third-party, 24x7x365 uptime data at trust.echosign.com. We've done this because we recognize that signing contracts and closing deals is absolutely a mission-critical business process.
One of the third-party vendors we use also publishes average response time data -- i.e., on a relative basis, how quickly the app performs over time. You can see how the response times at the left have improved substantially since our 4.0 release in November.
Which reminded us of some of the key work that went into our 4.0 release in November which we didn't write about - improvements in speed all across EchoSign. While we've been focused on trying to deliver Google-esque speed since our launch, and we took this to next level in 4.0 in several ways. First, we simplified and streamlined the code base for our Home page to make it even snappier, and allow you to access more functionality from this one single page (a la iGoogle). Second, we upgraded our hardware and systems to run even faster. And third, we attempted to further make the CPU-intensive parts of EchoSign more invisible to the end user, with such improvements as adding the snappy post-Send page you've likely seen that let's you almost instantly set alerts and reminders and move onto another contract. The Manage tab also loads substantially faster for accounts with thousands or more contracts in them.
So please let us know how it works for you. Beyond all the great features in our 4.0 launch, we're hoping that the basic core electronic signing experience is even faster and snappier that before for you. Please let us know if you've experienced that as well.
